computer crash new hard drive where can I find my old emails please

My hard drive died and have had new one installed but were my old emails saved anywhere like a cloud or something with mozilla or are they lost for ever?

If you have IMAP mail, then your mail is stored on the server and can be recovered, once you set up Thunderbird again.

If you have POP mail. Mail is usually stored on the hard drive. (Sorry!)

A good computer repair shop MIGHT be able to recover some of the data, including your old TB profile, BUT... There is no guarantee of success, and it could be pricey.
